- קִישְׁקוּשָׁא, קִשְׁ׳II m. (קשש; cmp. Zeph. 2:1) gathering place (in war times); tower, fort.Pl. קִישְׁקוּשֵׁי, קִשְׁ׳. Sabb.11a אבל בק׳וכ׳ but as to towers and turrets, we care not (they may be higher than the synagogue).
